Ragaire Rosé
Gaelic Origin: It's derived from the word for late-night wandering, or for sitting up talking long into the early hours.
Fíona Rúnda
Gaelic Origin: Fiona means vine or wine. Rún, or Rúnda, is magical, mysterious and secret. Translation: Wine Secret. This Alsace inspired blend is meant to be a palate pleaser for a party of people with different tastes.
Merlot
Prepare to be enveloped by the presence of a well-aged cigar box, intertwined with the bold allure of blueberry and cocoa. Taste the power of ripe raspberry and robust tobacco, a strong and unrivaled combination. Earthy Beetroot and baked berries command the palate, adding layers of complexity, while hints of clove linger, leaving an indelible mark of refinement and sophistication.
Reserve Oaked Chardonnay
Our reserve chardonnay has a complex barrel program of French oak, Austrian and Acacia. We often use a mixture of new barrels, used barrels, and neutral barrels during maturation to offer depth to the body. We believe in the old world methodology of soft malo influence. Most common note from vintage to vintage is tropical crème brûlée.
Select Harvest Riesling
"Select Harvest" in the context of Riesling refers to a winemaking technique where grapes are picked at a specific time to ensure a certain level of ripeness and concentration of flavors. The Select Harvest process involves allowing the grapes to remain on the vine for an extended period. During this time, the grapes undergo dehydration, which concentrates the sugars and flavors while maintaining the grape's acidity. The result is a wine with a higher level of richness, and complexity. We typically ferment this style of wine to medium sweet in residual sugar.
Gewürztraminer
Nestled in the embrace of sandy loam, our prized vines stand tall, basking in the gentle caress of the southwest sun on what we affectionately refer to as the "Big Vineyard". Here, amidst this idyllic setting, flourishes a varietal that embodies both spice and floral notes. Whether enjoyed on its own as a single varietal or blended harmoniously with others, this grape holds a special place in our hearts and our winemaking philosophy.
Pinot Blanc
Amidst the fusion of clay, gravel, and sandy loam, this exceptional varietal finds its home, drawing upon the diverse terroir to unveil its inherent complexity. Crafted in a dry style that exudes elegance, our Pinot Blanc entices the palate with the signature juicy fruit notes in the warm seasons. Yet, it is the subtle undertones of citrus that truly set this wine apart, particularly in the crisp embrace of cooler years.
Dry Riesling
Planted in the infancy of our estate, our oldest Riesling vine basks in the embrace of Michigan's clay sandy loam terroir. Cultivating this noble varietal is a joyous dance with nature, resulting in two distinct expressions of Riesling from each harvest. Our dry rendition is a testament to precision and purity, its crispness and impeccable balance adorned with the fragrant nose of orchards.
Pinot Grigio
The artistry of our Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris wines begins amidst the sandy loam and gravel of our enchanting vineyard where this varietal is planted. Crafted with meticulous care, our Pinot Grigio style beckons you to embrace the warmth of sun-drenched days and the ethereal beauty of twilight. Revel in delicate blossoms tangy citrus peel, and the earthy essence of wet stone intertwine in a symphony of flavors that dance upon the palate.
Unoaked Chardonnay
Our Unoaked Chardonnay is just that unoaked. Clean, crisp notes come from fermentation in 100% steel each vintage. We typically use sur lie aging before bottling to create richness. Our chardonnay has the most diverse terroir with clay, sand, loam, and gravel which contributes to the minerality on the palate.
