The perfect stop along your Sleeping Bear Dunes adventure. Perched at 1165 feet, our tasting room sits at the highest point in Leelanau County. This elevation not only creates breathtaking views and memorable sunsets, but the perfect conditions for making award-winning wines. As a family-owned, fifth-generation farmland, Gallagher Estate focuses on using estate-grown grapes to honor our rich northern Michigan legacy.

Rove Nation
Our wine club, "Rove Nation," isn’t like your traditional wine club. It's is really more of a Community Supported Agriculture winery (A CSA is when individuals pledge support to a farm so it can grow and by extension it becomes a “community” farm).
Because of the amazing commitment of our wine club members, we’ve been able to plant new vineyards and implement organic & sustainable farming practices.
This means you get access to more wine varieties and ciders. But it also means that with every sip of wine you know we’re caring for the land and the surrounding ecosystems to keep it healthy and thriving for the generations who come after us.

Join us on our patio or in our cozy tasting room for wine tastings by the glass or flight along with live music, local bites, outdoor games, bonfires and more.

Events at Rove Winery
Overlooking the breathtaking Leelanau Peninsula at 1165 feet, Rove Winery's sunset views make it the perfect space to host your special event.
From wine tours to corporate parties and more, we offer an event tent and a selection of small plates to complement our wines. We can accommodate most catering options Sunday–Thursday.
From November to March, holiday parties and private events can be held on Fridays and Saturdays.
Rove's Wines
Truly exceptional wine and cider is born from the terroir of the vineyard or orchard itself.
The unique microclimate and elevation at the Gallagher Estate creates the perfect conditions for grape-growing: southern-exposed slopes, abundant sunlight, and cool-air drainage with protection from the frost.
By allowing our grapes to express themselves in the final product and minimally manipulating the season’s harvest, we carefully craft wines that are a direct representation of our heritage land.
